Ambassador Hotel was truly amazing! I liked the interior most of all, hotel staff provided us great assistance and showed us personal treat. The location seemed to be rather central, it took only 30 minutes to get from airport to hotel. We walked to Nevsky Prospect and Palace Square. Near hotel there is a metro station and two big malls. Besides, prices for accommodation and other services are not that high comparing to other good hotels in the city. Ambassador Hotel is highly recommended for a stay in St. Petersburg!

I've stayed with my friends at Ambassador Hotel during our trip from Finland to Saint-Petersburg. Outstanding hotel with good treat, very new and elegant. Comfortable Room, Lovely Buffet Breakfast! I Look forward to coming back!!!

I with my boyfriend spent wonderful days at Ambassador hotel, but it is not very close to the main sightseeing as it was wrote in Internet. And one more detail that spoiled out traveling was that we had to pay for calls made from our telephone...we didn't call anybody and in conclusion we couldn't prove it and get our money back.

Great Value for money! Ambassador Hotel was welcoming us in the end of July. Room was not big, but it was comfortable with new furniture. The restaurant on the top floor of hotel had amazing view. Staff spoke good English. The location is central. Nothing negative to say. Good for a four star hotel!

I've heard that in Russia not all hotels meet the indicated star rating. So I was searching for a four star hotel to at least leave in a three star. I didn't expect much from Ambassador Hotel, Saint-Petersburg, however, it was best combination of quality and service. It's really big with wonderful atrium, great restaurants with city view, nice room. We were walking to all major sights (Hermitage, Palace Square, Isaac's Cathedral, etc.). We also had a nice city tour with English speaking guide. Most likely to return back.

Ambassador is great hotel, it deserves to have a better star rating. In the hall there is a fantastic atrium, I liked the beautiful city view from the restaurant on the top floor. The location is rather central, it might take you 15 minutes to get to Nevsky Prospect, 10 minutes to nearest metro station. The hotel is also cheaper than other hotels of such kind in the city.

I've traveled with my colleagues to Saint-Petersburg, Russia. We stayed at Ambassador hotel and were not disappointed. The hotel actually can't boast the 5 star hotel service, but the hotel is claimed to be 4 star hotel. I would value it as a 4+ star hotel. The rooms are well equipped, the interior of the lobby and the restaurants is rather luxury, the dining is above average. Besides, the rates at Ambassador hotel are greatly lower than at other luxury hotels in Saint-Petersburg. My friend stayed at Grand Hotel Astoria for about 700 per night, while I've payed twice less of that amount. As for the location, it's rather central, especially, if you've used to staying at big cities - like London, Paris and etc., where the center of the city is rather big. The major sights are within 15-20 minutes walk. The metro station is 5 min. walk. Overall, Ambassador Hotel is a good place to stay!!!

I booked the Ambassador hotel with my tour group in March, 2008. I liked the hotel very much-friendly staff, delicious food at the restaurant and a great view from my window! We went out for a supper to the nearest restaurant (very tasty and for a low price). But the main advantage of the hotel is that it’s located not far from the main city street-Nevsky Prospect.

I spent two nights at Ambassador hotel while I was on my business trip to Saint- Petersburg. The hotel is located in the center of the city (near Sennaya Place) and in 15-minutes of walking from the Nevsky Prospect. The main tourist attractions are located in 15-20 minutes of walk. The service is polite and helpful, the food at the restaurant is delicious, but a little bit expensive. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but not too big also it depends on personnel experience). Liked the hotel very much and would stay here again on my next business trip.

It's very hard to find a hotel with all facilities for disabled in Russia. I was warned about it, but I could hardly imagine that it was such a rare thing((( I've searched through many hotels in St. Petersburg, and would like to review the Ambassador hotel as a new hotel that was originally built with all contemporary standards and high level of service. I've found a special elevator big enough for wheelchair. The room was well-equipped: nice bathroom of a needed size and all the handles are arranged comfortably. I was treated very well (the reception was eager to help - I value that the most) I enjoyed my accommodation at Ambassador Hotel a lot. Thanks!

I've prepared a surprise for my girlfriend in May, just romantic getaway, we've been in Prague in such a way. I heard about St. Petersburg a lot, and decided to repeat the journey, only this time to Russia) I've spent much time searching the websites and hotels, comparing the rates and looking through pictures. Finally, I stopped my mind choosing the Ambassador. Jennifer (my girl's name) and I liked it. The hotel seemed to be new, and the room was spacious with comfortable bed, clean bathroom. We had a good time there)

I like Ambassador! It is rather luxury, but not so expensive as other high-level hotels of Saint -Petersburg. The room we stayed was bright and comfortable, the window leaves on quite street. Nothing superfluous, but at the same time, in room there is everything that is necessary for good rest. Ambassador is in the city center, and there are great quantity of shops, bars and restaurants! By the way, concerning restaurant - nice one on the last floor of the hotel. A bit expensive, but very delicious and wonderful view on city from the windows.

In my opinion Ambassador Hotel is the best place for accommodation! First when I saw the photos of this gorgeous hotel, I decided to stay there. My Studio Room was very convenient and spacious with everything I needed... Atmosphere in the hotel was so relaxing and luxurious! Buffet breakfast was the best I've ever had! So my stay was really enjoyable!
