I've spent 7 nights at this hotel in Saint-Petersburg and was satisfied with my stay. The hotel is a little bit old-fashioned, not modern, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel is not exactly in the city center, but in 10 minutes of walking is metro station and the Hermitage is in 30 minutes. Lots of positive expressions, would recommend this hotel!

Fabulous!!! We just spent 4 nights at Grand Hotel Emerald in Saint-Petersburg. The lodging is luxurious and pleasant. We had the room facing the atrium, great lobby. We have never had a hotel treat us like this before. The Concierge Service was very helpful, we were ordered some excursions right at hotel (Peterhof, boat trip, theater tickets). Hotel is worth the money!!!

Grand Hotel Emerald was a pleasant accommodation for me, 5 star hotel with all needed facilities and services. The room was spacious and the furnishings seemed to be new. Great lodging for reasonable price!

Das Hotel Emerald ist ein schoenes Hotel besonders fuer sachlichere Leute. Die Personale sind sehr freundlich und sprechen gut Englisch. Es war beachtenswert weil ich keine russische Sprache weise. Das Fruehstueck war schmakhafter und das Service war sehr schnell. Ich will ins Emerald Hotel noch einmal kommen!

I've found the Grand Hotel Emerald to be a best place for high class accommodation, truly a 5 star hotel with the attractive rates and luxury surroundings. The room was spacious and comfy. Breakfast and meal at the restaurant were both delicious. There are all business facilities needed.
Good choice in St. Petersburg!

The hotel met my expectations, the rich and bright decoration. Even the Standard room was of a high quality with a sitting area, huge bed and spacious bathroom.

The Dining options are great, I preferred to eat mostly at hotel, its here where I liked the traditional Russian cuisine. My favorite restaurant was the atrium, very relaxed and light atmosphere! The location might be more central but the hotel rates are lower than at any 5 star hotel in the city and that compensated the taxi expenses. The staff speaks good English, had no problem communicating with reception. Hope my recommendations would be helpful. Pleasant lodging in St. Petersburg!

Grand Hotel Emerald - perfect place for accommodation even in the centre of St. Pete! Service was more than excellent, certainly because of the high-professional hospital staff that was always ready to make a favor in any question. Emerald Hotel is like a royal residence, so next time I will stay only at this hotel.
